XRP Features

A specific feature of the Ripple network is a minimum reserve requirement. For your wallet to be activated, it must hold at least 20 XRP. This amount is reserved by the network for using the wallet. Thus, the amount of the first transfer to your wallet must be no less than 20 XRP, and for recovery, your wallet needs to hold at least 40 XRP (20 XRP will remain reserved on the old wallet, and another 20 XRP will be used to activate the new one).
